6. Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will launch the second phase of the crop loan waiver at the Legislative Assembly premises on Tuesday. He would waive crop loans of farmers up to Rs 1.50 lakh each in one go. The money will be credited directly to the bank accounts of the farmers.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said comprehensive arrangements have been made in coordination with the Centre for Kanwar Yatra and emphasised the need for self-discipline among devotees for its smooth completion. The government has allowed 80% of seats of B.Sc courses in private nursing colleges to be filled through CET counselling by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), while the remaining 20% will be filled by the colleges under management quota.

3. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has sealed at least 13 "illegal" coaching centres in Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar after three civil service aspirants died in the flooding of the basement of a coaching institute in the same area.
The action by the civic body, which continued till late Sunday night, came after three students - Tanya Soni, Shreya Yadav and Nevin Delvin - were killed when water suddenly gushed into the basement of Rau's IAS Study Circle on Saturday evening.

5. The Varanasi Development Authority (VDA) carried out a demolition drive of two illegally constructed luxurious hotels belonging to the same owner on the banks of the Varuna River in Varanasi on Saturday. Pulkit Khare, Vice-Chairman, Varanasi Development Authority said.

In a setback for the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Supreme Court on Monday dismissed the agency's plea challenging a Jharkhand High Court order that granted bail to Chief Minister Hemant Soren in a money laundering case linked to an alleged land scam. The court ruled that the High Court's decision was based on a "very well-reasoned judgment."

1. The Government accords approval for procurement of 22 Interceptor Boats to enhance capabilities of the Indian Coast Guard.
2. BOOST FOR SECURITY FORCES ON INDIA-CHINA BORDER : The Border Roads Organisation (BRO), in collaboration with the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and the National Projects Construction Corporation, has commenced the third phase of the strategic India, China Border Roads (ICBR) project. This initiative aims to enhance the road network in eastern Ladakh, facilitating faster movement of security forces along the Line of Actual Control.
3. India and China share a 3,488 km border spanning across Ladakh, Arunachal, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Sikkim. Following the 2020 standoff with the Chinese army at Galwan in eastern Ladakh, the Union government has accelerated the pace of road construction and identified new roads under the third phase of ICBR.
4. The Supreme Court has taken a serious view of the defence ministry’s delay in resolving pension anomalies of retired officers of the rank of captain in the “One Rank One Pension” (OROP) scheme.
In orders passed this week, the apex court observed that it was inclined to enhance the pension by 20 per cent in addition to imposing exemplary costs if the ministry continues to seek more time from the court and delay implementation.
